Luis Nani Leaving for Arsenal Talk, What do Arsenal's Fans Have to Say About it?

A report has linked Manchester United winger Nani with a January switch to Arsenal.

Nani is fully expected to leave Manchester United either in January or next summer, but his destination remains so far undecided.

He has been linked previously with Zenit St Petersburg, Inter Milan, and to Porto as part of a swap deal with James Rodriguez.

He is currently out injured, but his contract remains no closer to being signed, which expires in summer 2013. He was criticised by Sir Alex Ferguson after the club's League Cup defeat to Chelsea.

A report in today's Daily Mail has claimed the winger could be heading for Arsenal.
Our opinion is that such a deal simply won't happen. Arsene Wenger may have sold Van Persie to a rival club in United this summer, but don't expect Sir Alex Ferguson to do the same.

If he sells Nani, it will be to a club abroad where the winger is more unlikely to come back to haunt them. Arsenal have been linked with some odd targets over the last few weeks; and you can file this one along with Frank Lampard and Stewart Downing. Not happening.

What do supporters make of the report? Here's a look how Arsenal fans have reacted and whether anyone wants the deal to come off- As you can see reactions are pretty split...

Arsenal fan reaction
@gooner_wilson: Nani is such a quality player. I'd take him from united quite happily.

@topgooner100: LMAO can I please stop seeing Nani to Arsenal NEVER gonna happen dont want him AND unlike sum they DON'T sell to rival teams :D

@onlypelz: I'd have Nani at Arsenal..

@alun_j_: If we sign Nani, I won't be able to bare seeing him in an Arsenal kit.

@runandthatsall: Would you be happy if Arsenal sell Theo and sign Nani? I really don't see the difference between the two. And Fergie selling to us? Hah.

@josepharsenal1: I would absolutely love Nani. He'd provide so much balance in the midfield.

@robloveafc: I know it won't happen but I'd love Nani at Arsenal, I prefer him to Valencia.

@sabah_chotuafc: Hmmm... Nani at arsenal. That would be yummy simply because it might annoy utd fans & could mean Theo up front. No other reason tbh.

@devenny97: If we signed Nani, that would be so sick!!

@whatgap: Nani? You think SAF would sell us a hood player? He's not an idiot.

@simonsays1982: Hate myself for saying this but I'd take Nani at Arsenal. That said there's no way Taggart would sell him to us for #Wengernomics

@goonergolazo: Walcott cn **** off. ID HAVE NANI ANYDAY

@tomhunter88: Really hope rumours of Nani to Arsenal are false. I'd take practically any other winger over that show pony

@kyleoconnor10: If nani news is true I'll be ecstatic. Absolutely love his style of play, what a signing he'd be.
@jayfuzz: Nani to Arsenal? Can't be any worse than Gervinho

Could Nani to Arsenal actually happen or do you agree it's a dead duck? Would you take him?
