Man kills 5 children, commits suicide Via @Capital FM-Kenya

NAKURU, Kenya. A 45-year-old man on Monday night killed his five children before committing suicide following a domestic quarrel with his wife in Chepsirwa farm of Kuresoi district.
 

The man slit throats of his five sons aged between ages 10 and two with a kitchen knife and then hanged himself in the same room.

Neighbors said the man had a disagreement with his 37-year-old wife before a fight between them ensued.
The wife however managed to escape with slight injuries on the left shoulder making the man turn his rage on the children.

Area District Commissioner Cyrus Gatobu who visited the scene confirmed that the tragedy emanated from a domestic disagreement.

He confirmed that the wife had been treated at the nearby Sirikwa Dispensary and discharged.
